ARB affiliates worldwide provide service to nearly every language and country in the world.

Priorities and Values
ARB recently surveyed employees to determine their priorities and interests. Nearly every staff member listed 'family' as their top priority and included comments such as 'a loving home environment for my family' and 'being there for family & friends' as their goals.

Another high priority identified by ARB staff was service. Whether service to church and God or to community and others, ARB staff mentioned the ideals of honesty, integrity, respect, happiness, being a good friend, giving back, and lifting burdens as important aspects of their life.


Community Service
In May 2000, over 70% of ARB staff report spending time each week in volunteer service. Over 45% report 5 or more hours per week, and 19% report 10 or more hours per week. This service encompasses a variety of activities for community and church including:

Serving in local government positions
Tutoring & mentoring in schools
Teaching adult classes
Transporting patients
Reading to the blind
